Calling everyone interested in working at the Bloomingdale Park District this summer! We are hosting an open house job fair for positions at the pool, concession stand (must be 15 years old) and summer camp (must be 16 years old). We want to meet you! This is a one stop shop for a summer job, and there are many opportunities available. Stop in between 3-5PM on Wednesday, March 26 to apply and have your initial interview. Swim Team Head Coach.pdf   Under general supervision of the Aquatics Supervisor, the Head Swim Team Coach is responsible for conducting a competitive swim team program that teaches the correct stroke techniques and prepares participants for competitive swim meets.

Swim Team Assistant Coach.pdf  Under general supervision of the Aquatics Supervisor and Head Swim Coach, responsible for conducting a competitive swim team program that teaches the correct stroke techniques and prepares participants for competitive swim meets.

Pool Lifeguard.pdf 
 The Concession Stand Shift Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the concession stand and its staff. This includes but is not limited to the opening and closing of the stand, daily inventory, stocking supplies, checking register drawers and inventory at the conclusion of the shift, and being responsible for all staff and their duties. This employee works under the supervision of the Recreation Supervisor.

ConcessionShiftSupervisor.pdf  The Concession Stand Shift Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the concession stand and its staff. This employee works under the supervision of the Recreation Supervisor.

ConcessionStaff.pdf  The Concession Staff are responsible for the daily operations of the concession operation: serving customers, filling food orders, operating a register accurately, the upkeep of the concession food prep-area, assisting with daily cleaning of the concession food eating areas, working with additional concession staff, and maintaining friendly patron relations. They work under the general direction and supervision of the Recreation Supervisor.

CabanaCrewPool.pdf Under the direction of the Aquatics Supervisor/Coordinator, the Cabana Crew is responsible for the Pool Deck and Front Gate area, which includes balancing the cash drawer and checking in patrons for the pool.

Aquatic Coordinator.pdf (March through August part-time seasonal) Under the direction of the Aquatics and Facilities Supervisor, the Aquatics Coordinator is responsible for helping in the planning, organization and management of The Oasis and aquatic programs.

Summer Camp Staff PT.pdf (part-time seasonal). Under the direction of the Recreation Supervisor, the Day Camp Staff is responsible for planning and implementing day camp activities and supervising and leading children in a safe manner during the day camp program.

Pool Swim Instructor.pdf (part-time seasonal). Under the direction of the Aquatics Supervisor/Coordinator, the swim instructor is responsible for performing a variety of duties to ensure the success of the Swim Lesson Program.

Parks Maintenance (full-time). Under the direction of the Director of Parks & Planning, the Parks and Facility Maintenance I staff member is responsible for the daily maintenance, repair, and improvements of the parks and facilities of the Bloomingdale Park District.  

Parks Maintenance Worker (part-time seasonal)Under the director of the Assistant Director of Parks & Planning, assists in the daily daily maintenance, repair, and improvements of the parks and facilities of the Bloomingdale Park District.  

Group Exercise Instructor  (part-time). Under the direction of the Fitness Coordinator, the Group Exercise Instructor is responsible for creating and executing group fitness classes based on the format of the class. All format instructors are encouraged to apply, special preference to Cardio, Strength, Circuit, Senior, SilverSneakers, Aqua/Water Fitness, Pilates, Youth/Kids, Step, and other specialty fitness formats. Certification(s) and experience is required.

Aqua Fitness Instructor (part time). Under the direction of the Fitness Coordinator, the Aqua Fitness Instructor is responsible for creating and executing aquatic fitness classes. Aqua/Water Fitness Certification(s) and experience is required.
