History:
The Bloomingdale Park District, in partnership with the Village of Bloomingdale, completed major renovations at Leslie Park in summer 2024 thanks to a $300,000 OSLAD grant. The improvements include a new age-specific playground, shaded seating areas, a half-court sport court, native plantings, and an accessible fishing station. These enhancements expand recreation and learning opportunities for residents while preserving the park’s natural beauty.
