Registration deadlines for Summer Camp are by 11:59PM on the Monday the week prior to attending.  Cancellations and changes must be completed prior to the registration deadline.  There are no exceptions to the deadline policy.

General Information

Crafts, cooking, sports, science experiments, special events, fitness, hikes, field trips and swimming are just some of the ways that will make this summer one you’ll never forget. The Park District will provide each camper with project and activity supplies for special projects. Campers should bring a lunch, two snacks, swimsuit, sunscreen, water bottle, and towel daily to camp. Campers must wear gym shoes.

Camp groups are based on the age (not grade) your child will be as of September 1, 2026. 

Pickup window:  3-3:30PM (pickups after 3:30PM will result in a late fee.) There is no pickup window on field trip days.

Quick Tips for Successful Registration:
• Registration begins April 16 online and in-person at the Johnston Recreation Center. All camp days are available. Register early as camp spots are limited.
• Campers must pay a one-time, non-refundable $25R/$30NR registration fee per camp.
• ALL weekly & daily registrations must be completed no later than 11:59PM on the Monday the week prior to attending.  There are no exceptions.
• Participant ePACT profiles must be completed (prior to the start of camp) online for each participant, email with instructions will be sent to the email on your household.
• For inclusion services, WDSRA requires enrollment for the entire summer (AM Care, Camp, and PM Care) to be completed by May 1 to ensure a spot in camp.  After May 1 campers will be placed on a waitlist.  Services will only be rendered if reasonable accommodations can be made.

Spend your summer making memories with friends while also meeting new ones at Cat Tails, Mouse Hole, Lion’s Den, or Goin' Ape camp!  Bloomingdale Park District Summer Camp is full of arts & crafts, outdoor times, group games, exciting trips, and more! Participants relax and cool off at the Oasis Water Park on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (weather permitting) and Wednesdays are field trip days.

Campers experience a variety of field trips twice a week, maybe in-house or by bus to water parks, museums, bowling, and more. Campers may take up to two walking field trips (weather permitting) to the Bloomingdale Public Library, Westlake Park, and nearby restaurants (parents will be notified when their camper will need spending money.) Top Doggers also enjoy relaxing time at The Oasis Water Park, as well as group and individual games and activities throughout the week.  *Swim/Dive times may not be conducive with field trips- please see calendar and plan accordingly*

Sunrise/Sunset Extended Care
Extended care is available 7-8:30AM and 3:30-6PM.

Games and activities are provided. All attendees are escorted to and from Sunrise/Sunset Extended Care by camp counselors.
