Welcome to the BPD E-newsletter!
This monthly update keeps you in tune with all of the events, activities and happenings in the Bloomingdale Park District. Our mission is to efficiently and economically provide recreation programs, facilities and open space designed to provide enjoyable leisure time experiences that benefit the community.
We need your input!
The Bloomingdale Park District invites residents to help select color schemes and activity panels for a planned renovation of the playground structures at Sunnyside Park, 291 Glen Ellyn Road in Bloomingdale.
The open house is scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m., Feb. 20 in the Community Room of the Johnston Recreation Center. Plans for the new accessible play structures will be on display, and refreshments will be served. Parents are encouraged to bring children and come at any time during the open house. No formal presentation will be given.
The park will undergo a complete renovation of its playground structure, becoming fully-accessible for children of all abilities, ages 2-12 years. More...
Girls Night Out
Bend, sip and relax at the Park District's first-ever Girls Night Out 7-9 p.m., Feb. 8 at the Bloomingdale Park District Museum! The evening involves a 45-minute yoga session, wine and cheese sampling and short presentations on healthy eating and fitness. Register in person at the JRC or online here.

Season passes for The Oasis Water Park are now on sale!
Save $40 by buying your pass early and enjoy early daily admission, two free one-day guest passes, the option to purchase a VIP pass, discounted private rentals and parties and free admission to Oasis special events.
Purchase your pass online or in person at the Johnston Recreation Center. Those purchasing the weekend of Feb. 1-3 receive a prize!

March Madness Basketball Tournament - Team up with friends and showcase your skills at this 3-on-3 basketball tournament March 16-17 at the JRC. All players receive a T-shirt. Contact Chris Tompkins to register.
Little Chef Cook-Off - Children create and sample the goodies they prepare during these one-day cooking classes! Upcoming dates include Feb. 18, March 1 and March 4. Registration deadline is one week prior to class.
Planning an Event? - We have your solution! The Park District offers a wide array of rental options at its parks and facilities. All rentals require proper paperwork and applicable fees.
